Abstract
The idea of organized crime revolves around the notion of businesses created by criminals in pursuit of financial gain. The patriarchal system in which women have no power, the emphasis on the extended family in society, and the elevated level of personal trust required by the code of honor make Albanian society distinct from all other societies. The fundamental goal of the studies is to completely analyze and offer a comprehensive and exhaustive review of the characteristics to dive into the intricate world of Albanian organized crime, methodically evaluating and taking into account the dynamic growth of criminal activities over time. This research project attempts to comprehensively examine the changes in the organizational framework and the structure of criminal syndicates, as well as the subtle modifications in the type, volume, and scope of their unlawful operations. The first section of the research analyses the country's culture and natural history to explain how everything began and why Albanians become involved in these kinds of activities. This thesis underlines in the first part the notion of "the significant influence that the past experienced in which the country has passed thought on the typology of this type of crime as well as the impact of financial and political variables in the foundation and development of these criminal groups." The second part of the thesis focuses more on why the legal system needed to be changed and put into motion and to be implemented in order to deal this those activities that got out of control of the state, so it started to rely more on collaboration with the Western countries, adoption even a constitution comparable to theirs, and making so many reforms such as the vetting re-evaluation process which gave a positive impact in the development and the decrease of corruption in the Albanian legal system. Examining the crucial component required for Albania to successfully pursue the path towards EU membership and the adjustments and strengthening its justice system that the Albanian inter-core into their legal system to make it as compatible as possible with the EU rules was an adequate beginning in reducing the frequency of those activities. Even taking into account the importance of these accomplishments, it should be noted that Albania still has plenty of challenges and impediments to overcome before it can begin discussions with the EU.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
