Cortesia e tradimento: l'adulterio femminile nei lais e nei fabliaux. ​

This dissertation discusses the issue of female adultery in the literary genres of lai and fabliau. The goal is to find and analyze common and distinctive features in various compositions belonging to the different genres, dividing the research between tales where adultery is justified and tales where it is condemned and then focusing on the characteristics and treatment of the main characters (divided by gender and role). ​

Questa dissertazione parla della tematica dell'adulterio femminile nei generi letterari del lai e del fabliau. L'obiettivo è trovare e analizzare tratti comuni e distintivi in vari componimenti appartenti ai diversi generi, dividendo la ricerca tra racconti dove l'adulterio viene giustificato e racconti dove esso viene condannato per poi focalizzarsi sulle caratteristiche e il trattamento dei personaggi principali (divisi per genere e ruolo). ​
