Organizations, to be successful, need a strong competitive advantage. However, the instability and constant change of the world environment make this objective more difficult to achieve. Lepaya, which is a fast-growing Learning & Development provider, was born with the goal of solving this issue. Customized training programs, based on their clients’ problems, needs, and strategic goals, are effectively improving firms’ competitive advantage. A review of the literature available has confirmed the effectiveness of training on employees, teams, and companies. The application of strategic resource management is proven to benefit all stakeholders by improving the firm’s competitive advantage. The thesis is based on my personal internship experience at Lepaya, where I analyzed how the right training helps a firm achieve its goals with the biggest client of Lepaya, KPMG. The dissertation will outline the Lepaya process for creating customized training programs for KPMG. The analysis of the problems, needs, and strategic goals, is the base of how the training programs are designed to meet the needs of different types of employees. A careful analysis of output data proves a positive impact of the training programs offered on KPMG’s employees.
