Comparazione delle diverse politiche di allocazione in Linux

In Chapter 1, a brief overview of the kernel is provided. In Chapter 2 the different methods to allocate memory in Linux are reviewed. In Chapter 3 some memory consistency models are described, in particular the policies in Linux. In Chapter 4 the results of a set of experiments performed on the different kernel allocators described are shown and analyzed.
