The thesis aims to build and test a theoretical model attempting to explain both the dark matter (DM) in the Universe and the existence of the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment. We propose to test the model by looking at the associated photon flux that can be measured by orbiting satellite experiments (i.e. ESA/INTEGRAL and NASA/COSI). Our main assumptions are the presence of a spin-1/2 DM interacting through a new U(1) spin-1 boson Z' that is also coupled with Standard Model particles μ, τ, νμ, ντ . The model has three parameters, namely the universal coupling of the Z' boson, the mass of the Z' boson and the DM mass, that will be constrained by the experimental features stated above.

Abstract
The thesis aims to build and test a theoretical model attempting to explain both the dark matter (DM) in the Universe and the existence of the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment. We propose to test the model by looking at the associated photon flux that can be measured by orbiting satellite experiments (i.e. ESA/INTEGRAL and NASA/COSI). Our main assumptions are the presence of a spin-1/2 DM interacting through a new U(1) spin-1 boson Z' that is also coupled with Standard Model particles μ, τ, νμ, ντ . The model has three parameters, namely the universal coupling of the Z' boson, the mass of the Z' boson and the DM mass, that will be constrained by the experimental features stated above.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
