I racconti di Maksim Osipov: una proposta di traduzione di Pokuda, Fantazija e Malen’kij lord Fauntleroy

This thesis aims to present a literary translation proposal from Russian to Italian. Maksim Osipov is the author of the three short stories that have been translated: Pokuda (Until), Fantazija (Fantasy) and Malen'kij Lord Fauntleroy (Little Lord Fauntleroy). These stories have been chosen because here the author provides an accurate portrayal of the current situation in Russian, through the perspective of different characters and settings that range from the capital city to small, nameless villages. The thesis is divided into three chapters: the first one presents a biography of the author and describes his literary production, in the second one the suggested translation of the short stories can be found, and, finally, the third chapter provides an analysis of the translation choices.

L’obiettivo di questa tesi è quello di fornire una proposta di traduzione letteraria dal russo all’italiano. Sono stati tradotti tre racconti di Maksim Osipov: Pokuda (Fino a quando), Fantazija (Fantasia), e Malen'kij Lord Fauntleroy (Il piccolo Lord Fauntleroy). Questi testi sono stati scelti perché in essi l’autore fornisce una descrizione accurata della situazione attuale in Russia, attraverso la prospettiva di personaggi diversi e ambientazioni che vanno dalla capitale a villaggi di provincia privi di nome. La tesi è divisa in tre capitoli: nel primo si presenta una biografia dell’autore e si descrive la sua produzione letteraria, nel secondo si propongono le traduzioni dei tre racconti e, infine, nel terzo capitolo si fornisce un’analisi delle scelte traduttive.
