La investigación desea explorar la evolución del papel de las mujeres peruanas en los procesos migratorios a Italia, centrándose en sus experiencias en Turín. El estudio investiga el fenómeno del transnacionalismo dentro de la migración peruana, analizando dimensiones como las redes sociales, los lazos familiares y las asociaciones de migrantes. Profundiza en la feminización de las migraciones, examinando los aspectos económicos, sociales, legales y psicológicos que afectan a las mujeres migrantes. A través de un estudio de caso en Turín, la investigación presenta diversas historias de vida de mujeres peruanas, mostrando su vida pre-migración en Perú, los desafíos que enfrentaron al llegar a Italia y su resistencia en la lucha por el adelanto personal. El estudio desea subrayar la determinación de estas mujeres, haciendo hincapié en sus esfuerzos para tener éxito en un nuevo entorno a pesar de las adversidades. Metodológicamente, la investigación utiliza enfoques cualitativos, recogiendo datos de campo mientras se consideran las preocupaciones éticas. Los resultados ofrecen un análisis de la información recopilada, destacando las experiencias multifacéticas de las mujeres migrantes peruanas en Turín. ¿Existe un proceso de libre determinación? En caso afirmativo, ¿cómo y en qué medida? En caso negativo, ¿por qué? ¿Qué es lo que todavía se desea hacer? Estas preguntas se exploran, contemplando las formas y contextos en los que la autonomía de estas mujeres fue perseguida o restringida. La conclusión reflexiona sobre los hallazgos, discutiendo posibles acciones adicionales y considerando si estas mujeres elegirían volver sobre sus pasos en su viaje migratorio. Este estudio quisiera destacar la compleja interacción entre la migración, el género y el empoderamiento, haciendo hincapié en la resiliencia de las mujeres migrantes peruanas y señalando los desafíos sociales y sistémicos que enfrentan. En última instancia, proporciona información valiosa sobre las transformaciones en el papel femenino dentro de los procesos migratorios, ofreciendo una comprensión más profunda de las experiencias de las mujeres migrantes de Perú a Italia, particularmente en Turín.
