La disinformazione nell'Era digitale

The thesis in question has the task of demonstrating how the methods of research and dissemination of information have changed in the digital age and how this has influenced the ease of propagation of the phenomenon of disinformation. In particular, attention will be paid to the evolution of information, the change in the means of communication, everything that surrounds the discussion of Fake News, which will be central, in order to fully analyze the reasons, the strengths, typologies and strategies. We will see how and why they arise, how they evolve, how to recognize and combat them, to then highlight the curve of change of the phenomenon up to the present day. From the first paragraphs and chapters, the topic in question uses analytical data to fully examine the phenomenon of disinformation. We will also look at how the population has reacted to this advancement of technologies, how it has interfaced with these discourses and how it has become literate over time. In the final phase, the topic of how the very recent artificial intelligence has mixed into these mechanisms, the consequences and changes that it has brought about or that could occur in the future will also be discussed.

La tesi in questione ha il compito di dimostrare come nell’era digitale siano cambiate le modalità di ricerca e diffusione delle informazioni e come questo abbia influito nella facilità di propagazione del fenomeno della disinformazione. In particolare, si porrà l’attenzione sull’evoluzione dell’informazione, il cambiamento dei mezzi di comunicazione, tutto ciò che circonda il discorso delle Fake News, che sarà centrale, per arrivare ad analizzarne a pieno le ragioni, i punti di forza, le tipologie e le strategie. Si andrà a vedere come e perché nascono, come si evolvono, come riconoscerle e contrastarle, per giungere poi ad evidenziare la curva di cambiamento del fenomeno fino ai giorni odierni. Sin dai primi paragrafi e capitoli il tema in questione si serve di dati analitici per esaminare integralmente il fenomeno della disinformazione. Si volgerà lo sguardo anche su come la popolazione ha reagito a questo avanzare delle tecnologie, come si è interfacciata a tali discorsi e come si è alfabetizzata con il passare del tempo. In fase finale si tratterà, inoltre, il tema di come la recentissima intelligenza artificiale si sia mescolata in questi meccanismi, le conseguenze e i cambiamenti che ha comportato o che in futuro si potrebbero manifestare.
