The aim of this thesis is to analyze entrepreneurship, new entrepreneurial figures and opportunities on Instagram. Starting from what economic literature can offer in terms of entrepreneurship, marketing. Focusing on the characteristics of the entrepreneur, its functions and trying to steal the dynamics of companies. Subsequently, it will underline the main marketing strategies and functions and then move on to the case and the peculiarities of Instagram. This social network created in 2011, focused in sharing photos and videos. Initially for personal and recreational purposes, then later become a fulcrum for the promotion of companies and the center of new commercial, marketing and sales strategies. The thesis is carried out, in order to analyze and set the basic strategies to be successful in this network, to grasp its facets and to emphasize the changes and the entrepreneurial figures that characterize Instagram. Such as influencers, whose can be considered the proponents of this recent success and appreciation of this social network. The latter will be analyzed, citing examples, so as to be able to see a link between the entrepreneur and these figures. Both in the literal sense, that is the entrepreneur as influencer, and as the use by the companies of the latter. Underlining and understanding the potential of the Internet, or even better social networks for companies in economic terms. Subsequently, a guideline will be drawn up to operate in this social network, focusing on the peculiarities and problems that may interfere in this process. Finally, converging on what the greatest users of Instagram should be, the reasons and strategies that should guide entrepreneurs, and last to be able to ride the wave of innovation. This has increasingly become an important element in order to be in step with the times, competitive and allow companies to succeed. The innovation and the correct use of its tools can also contrast the increasingly tough competition between firms, offering opportunities to companies themselves and individuals. They want to fully exploit their potentials in order to create their own business in a solid way and in step with the continuous changes in progress.
