Webcomics represent a very popular phenomenon of the Internet these days, which diffusion and variety reflect the great revolution the internet has brought in terms of means of communications and freedom of choice. In particular, Webcomics, thanks to a strong content and formal flexibility, are a perfect framework for the language of humour, renovating and experimenting in the classical tradition of joke-telling. The first part of this work has dealt with investigating the phenomenon of Webcomics in order to define its status as medium of communication, concentrating in the second part on the peculiar use of the Language of humour in the context of Webcomics; the last part features a brief catalogue of some examples of contemporary humorous Webcomics.
