EDUCAZIONE E SECONDA INFANZIA.UN PROGETTO DI SENSIBILIZZAZIONE ALLA LINGUA INGLESE

The aim of this thesis is to observe how, beginning with the analysis of the child life and of the education for children aged 3 to 6, is possible to apply the theoretical reflections to the practical teaching in nursery school. To do this, first of all, this dissertation analyses the evolution of the idea of childhood, from the 19th century until today, and the meaning it is given inside of the family and the school. Subsequently, the thesis examines the teaching issue in the nursery school, considering affective relationship which is established with the teacher and the use of playing and reading for the teaching methodology. In the last part of the dissertation a report of the internship at the nursery school for a project to increase awareness of the English language can be found. Besides the observation of the children and the organizing of the activities used to teach the foreign language, results and difficulties of the internship are presented.

L'obiettivo di questo elaborato è notare come, partendo dall'analisi della vita infantile e dell'educazione dai 3 ai 6 anni, sia possibile applicare le riflessioni teoriche nelle pratiche d'insegnamento all'interno della scuola dell'infanzia. Per fare ciò, questa tesi analizza, innanzitutto, l'evoluzione del concetto di infanzia dall'Ottocento ad oggi ed il significato che essa assume all'interno della famiglia e della scuola dell'infanzia. Successivamente il presente scritto esamina il tema dell'insegnamento nella scuola materna, prendendo in considerazione la relazione affettiva che il bambino instaura con l'insegnante e l'utilizzo del gioco e della narrativa nella didattica. Nell'ultima parte dell'elaborato si trova, infine, la relazione del tirocinio, inserito all'interno di un progetto di sensibilizzazione alla lingua inglese presso la scuola dell'infanzia. Oltre all'osservazione della classe coinvolta e alla strutturazione didattica effettuata per l'insegnamento della lingua straniera, vengono presentati i risultati ottenuti e le difficoltà incontrate durante lo svolgimento del tirocinio.
