Il contatto corporeo nella cura della persona: studio qualitativo tra gli studenti del Corso di Laurea in Infermieristica di Cuneo

Introduction: taking care, ¿to care¿, essence of nursing profession, it is carried out through competent actions, updated and based on the most recent scientific evidence. For a complete management, it is necessary to build a nurse-patient relationship that starts from the meaning that "the care of the self" has for the person and is based on the representation that each individual has built over time of his image. Body contact is a moment in which multiple emotions emerge. Aims: describe the experiences and emotions of students in the 2nd and 3rd year of the Degree in Nursing in Cuneo, emerged during the body contact in the care of the person. This is to highlight the uniqueness of the empathic and therapeutic proximity during the assistance and care of the other, starting from elements of reflection on the emotional impact in the experience of training and in relations with the patient. Materials and methods: a qualitative phenomenological study was conducted with a data collection tool, the focus group. By activating a Didactic Activity chosen by the Student, three meetings were organized with groups of 7 students. In addition, an initial presentation of the activity and a final refund were activated. The survey sessions were conducted in the period November-January 2018, with registration and faithful transcription of the contents, pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003, through the consent of the participants Results and conclusions: about 21 students, it emerged that for the students, during the traineeship training, the bodily contact with the assisted person represents a moment full of diversified emotions also with reference to the personal characteristics of the individual, to the person to be assisted, to previous experiences and can have a significant relapse on learning. The contact with the other is a fundamental moment, characterized by a multiplicity of elements, from the physical sphere to the emotional one to guarantee a centralized charge on the patient. In taking care of the nurse must be prepared to receive a strong emotional load that, thanks to the experience and responsibility acquired, will be able to better manage avoiding or excessive involvement or emotional detachment.

Introduzione: il prendersi cura della persona, ¿to care¿, essenza della professione infermieristica, si realizza attraverso azioni competenti, aggiornate e basate sulle più recenti evidenze scientifiche. Per una presa in carico completa, è necessario costruire un rapporto infermiere- paziente che parte dal significato che ¿la cura del sé¿ riveste per la persona e si fonda sulla rappresentazione che ogni individuo ha costruito nel tempo della propria immagine. Il contatto corporeo è un momento in cui emergono molteplici emozioni. Obiettivi: descrivere i vissuti e le emozioni degli studenti al II° e III° anno del Corso di Laurea in Infermieristica di Cuneo, emersi durante il contatto corporeo nella cura della persona. Questo per evidenziare l'unicità della vicinanza empatica e terapeutica durante l'assistenza e la cura dell'altro, partendo da elementi di riflessione relativo all'impatto emotivo nelle esperienze di tirocinio e nelle relazioni con il malato. Materiali e metodi: è stato condotto uno studio qualitativo fenomenologico con strumento di raccolta dati il focus group. Mediante attivazione di un'Attività Didattica a scelta dello Studente, sono stati organizzati tre incontri con gruppi di 7 studenti. Inoltre sono stati attivati un incontro iniziale di presentazione all'attività e uno di restituzione finale. Le sessioni di indagine sono state realizzate nel periodo novembre-gennaio 2018, con registrazione e trascrizione fedele dei contenuti, ai sensi del D.Lgs. 196/2003, attraverso consenso dei partecipanti. Risultati e conclusioni: su 21 studenti totali è emerso che, durante la formazione in tirocinio, il contatto corporeo con la persona assistita rappresenta un momento ricco di emozioni diversificate anche in riferimento alle caratteristiche personali del singolo, a quelle della persona da assistere, alle esperienze pregresse e possono avere una ricaduta significativa sull'apprendimento. Il contatto con l'altro è un momento fondamentale, caratterizzato da una molteplicità di elementi, dalla sfera fisica a quella emozionale finalizzata a garantire una presa in carico centralizzata sul paziente. Nel prendersi cura della persona l'infermiere deve essere preparato ad accogliere un carico emotivo sempre mutevole che, grazie all'esperienza e alla responsabilità acquisita, sarà in grado di gestire al meglio evitando o un eccessivo coinvolgimento o un distacco emotivo.
