Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törleß come Bildungsroman

The subject of this thesis is an in-depth analysis of certain aspects of Robert Musil's novel 'Die Verwirrungen Zöglings Törleß', a novel that focuses on the problems faced during adolescence. The following thesis is divided into three chapters: The first chapter corresponds to a short biography of the author, a summary of the novel to help the reader understand the analysis that will be carried out in the following chapters and the contextualisation of the novel, i.e. to which literary genre it belongs. The second chapter deals with the history of the Bildungsroman in German literature and how this concept fits into Musil's novel. The third chapter defines and analyses in more detail the changes, the characteristics for building the ego and the development the protagonist faces during the transition from childhood to adolescence. ​

Argomento di questa tesi è l'analisi approfondita di alcuni aspetti del romanzo di Robert Musil "Die Verwirrungen Zöglings Törleß", un romanzo che si concentra sui problemi affrontati durante l'adolescenza. La seguente tesi è divisa in tre capitoli: Il primo capitolo corrisponde a una breve biografia dell'autore, una sintesi del romanzo, per aiutare il lettore a comprendere l'analisi che verrà effettuata nei capitoli successivi e la contestualizzazione del romanzo, cioè a quale genere letterario appartiene. Il secondo capitolo tratta la storia del Bildungsroman nella letteratura tedesca e come questo concetto si adatta al romanzo di Musil. Il terzo capitolo definisce e analizza più dettagliatamente dei cambiamenti, le caratteristiche per costruire l’Io e lo sviluppo che il protagonista affronta durante il passaggio dall'infanzia all'adolescenza. ​
