L’alterazione dello stato di coscienza come strumento di ricerca interiore in relazione all’opera "Visita a Godenholm" di Ernst Jünger

This thesis aims to analyze the relationship between altered states of consciousness and the inner research within the literature of the German author Ernst Jünger. The introductory part of my dissertation will deal with Jünger's biography, mainly focusing on the significant friendship between him and the Swiss scientist Albert Hoffman. In the second part, I will analyze the influences of drugs on the author, and then, in the third chapter, I will examine his short novel "Visit to Godenholm". In conclusion, I will use the main elements of Jünger's philosophy in a critique of modern society and its issues.

Questa tesi ha come scopo quello di analizzare il rapporto tra gli stati alterati di coscienza e la ricerca interiore rispetto la letteratura dell'autore tedesco Ernst Jünger. La parte primaria della mia dissertazione tratterà la biografia di Jünger, focalizzandosi in particolar modo sul significativo rapporto di amicizia tra lui e lo scienziato svizzero Albert Hoffman. Nella seconda parte analizzerò le influenze delle sostanze stupefacenti sull'autore per poi ricollegarmi nel terzo capitolo alla sua novella "Visita a Godenholm" . Per concludere, gli elementi portanti della filosofia di Jünger esaminati nella mia produzione verranno usati per un commento di riflessione sulla società moderna e le sue criticità.
