Il portoghese brasiliano: formazione, sviluppo e analisi delle caratteristiche principali

The basis of this paper is the analysis of the Brazilian variant of the Portuguese language starting from the history of the language in Portugal, and then arriving at its arrival and its development in Brazil. In particular, attention is drawn to the lexical and grammatical differences between the two variants, and to the changes made by the new spelling agreement in order to obtain a unified spelling. The reason why I went into this topic in depth is my interest in the Portuguese language and its history, which was further inspired by the Erasmus experience in Portugal and So, from the meeting with many speakers of Portuguese as mother tongue both European and Brazilian. The aim of this thesis is to provide a detailed linguistic analysis of Brazilian Portuguese, highlighting the main differences that occur with the European variant of the Portuguese language.

Alla base di questo elaborato vi è l’analisi della variante brasiliana della lingua portoghese a partire dalla storia della lingua in Portogallo, per giungere poi al suo arrivo e al suo sviluppo in Brasile. In particolare, si pone l’attenzione sulle differenze a livello lessicale e grammaticale tra le due varianti, e sui cambiamenti apportati dal nuovo accordo ortografico al fine di ottenere un’ortografia unificata. La motivazione che mi ha spinta ad approfondire questo tema è il mio interesse per la lingua portoghese e la sua storia, suscitato ulteriormente dall’esperienza Erasmus in Portogallo e, quindi, dall’incontro con numerosi parlanti di portoghese come lingua madre sia europei che brasiliani. L’obiettivo di questa tesi di laurea è quello di fornire un’analisi linguistica dettagliata del portoghese brasiliano, mettendo in risalto le principali differenze che intercorrono con la variante europea della lingua portoghese.
