Conflitti socio-ambientali e questione di genere

This paper aims to investigate the ecological injustices caused by the State, the governments and the companies; on how citizens protest against the construction of incinerators, dumps, railways and military bases on their territory and how the female figure plays a central role. The survey initially develops on ecofeminism, its birth, its development and the ecofeminist perspectives that have developed over the years, it continues by delving into the connection between woman and nature, exploitation, subordination and the theories of reference. In the second chapter the focus is on environmental conflicts and women's mobilizations, both with related case studies. In conclusion, the figure of Rosy Battaglia, the Cittadini Relativi and the mothers no Pfas.

Questa tesi si propone di andare ad indagare le ingiustizie ecologiche causate dallo Stato, dai governi e dalle aziende; sulle modalità di protesta dei cittadini nei confronti della costruzione di inceneritori, discariche, ferrovie e basi militari sul loro territorio e come la figura femminile abbia un ruolo centrale. L’indagine si sviluppa inizialmente sull’ecofemminismo, sulla sua nascita, il suo sviluppo e le prospettive ecofemministe che si sono sviluppate negli anni, prosegue addentrandosi nell’ambito della connessione tra donna e natura, sfruttamento, subordinazione e le teorie di riferimento. Nel secondo capitolo il focus verte sui conflitti ambientali e le mobilitazioni delle donne, entrambi con annessi casi studio. In conclusione si approfondirà la figura di Rosy Battaglia, i Cittadini relativi e le mamme no Pfas.
