Alle origini del microracconto: i cuentos largos di Juan Ramón Jiménez

This study focuses on the figure of the Andalusian author Juan Ramón Jiménez and, in particular, on an aspect that is often overlooked, namely his being, as well as an illustrious poet, a precursor of the micro-story. The aim of the thesis is to convey the importance of the contribution made by the author to the creation of the identity of the aforementioned gender, because his cuentos largos appear to be antecedents to this literary tendency and thus lay the foundations for its future codification.

Questo studio è incentrato sulla figura dell’autore andaluso Juan Ramón Jiménez e, in particolare, su un suo aspetto che viene spesso trascurato, ovvero il suo essere stato, oltre che un illustre poeta, un precursore del microracconto. L’obiettivo della tesi è quello di trasmettere l’importanza del contributo dato dall’autore alla creazione dell’identità del suddetto genere, poiché i suoi cuentos largos risultano essere antecessori di questa tendenza letteraria e pongono quindi le basi per la sua futura codificazione.
