Eutanasia: una scelta cruciale

In this thesis he tackled the issue of euthanasia from a brief history and then make some analysis about the various theories and some related legal issues such as Article 32, the right to self-determination, aggressive treatment and the value human dignity. Following were reported concrete evidence of events that took place in Italy in recent times with the cases Welby and Englaro and final remarks by referring to the living will. In conclusion it was made about a foreign landscape outside Europe with the United States and a European with the Netherlands and the United Kingdoms most recently in France with the current case of Vincent Lambert.

In questa tesi è stato affrontato il tema dell'eutanasia partendo da un breve cenno storico per poi compiere alcune analisi riguardo le varie teorie attinenti ed alcuni aspetti giuridici come l'articolo 32, il diritto all'autodeterminazione, l'accanimento terapeutico e il valore della dignità umana. In seguito sono state riportate testimonianze concrete di fatti avvenuti in Italia in tempi relativamente recenti con i casi Welby ed Englaro e delle considerazioni finali facendo riferimento al testamento biologico. In conclusione è stato effettuato al riguardo un panorama estero extraeuropeo con gli Stati Uniti ed uno europeo con i Paesi Bassi il Regni Unito ed in ultimo in Francia con l'attuale caso di Vincent Lambert.
