This research aims to explore the relation between immigrant people and social network. In order to complete the research we interviewed 40 foreigners recruited in different health and social services in Turin district through a questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of 51 questions, which explore different aspects: data, school level, composition of the family, work commitment, knowledge, judgment and use of health and social services, the use of any network of informal support, sympathy towards other cultural groups, use of psychiatric services, the presence of a disturbance or discomfort. Results show that families are well informed about available resources and they often make use of the health services. Regarding informal network, questionnaires show that foreign have a small network, often because they have no family close, few friends in the area or contacts with the community to which they do not dare to contact for help. In general it appears that the majority of subjects is satisfied about their life in Italy and 100% of refugees interviewed gave the highest votes to the question referred to the lack of their country of origin.
