SALLUSTIO NELLA TRADIZIONE GRAMMATICALE ANTICA

The work intends to file and contextualize all citations by Sallust in the corpus of Latin grammarians, grammar consists of a set of manuals written between the second and eighth centuries and edited by Heinrich Keil (Martin Hertz for Institutiones of Priscian) in Leipzig between 1855 and 1880. The last chapter starting from the form that is located in the first book of the Histories (fr.8) investigates the problem of the genitive in-i certificate for some anthroponyms of Greek origin in place of the genitive in-is consistent with the name in -ēs and evolution of Latin became canon.

Il lavoro si è proposto di schedare e contestualizzare tutte le citazioni di Sallustio presenti nel corpus dei grammatici latini, costituito dall'insieme dei manuali di grammatica redatti tra il II e l'VIII secolo ed editi da Heinrich Keil (Martin Hertz per le Institutiones di Prisciano) a Lipsia tra il 1855 e il 1880. L'ultimo capitolo partendo dalla forma Persi che si trova nel I libro delle Historiae (fr.8) indaga il problema del genitivo in ¿i attestato per alcuni antroponimi di origine greca in luogo del genitivo in ¿is, coerente con il nominativo in -ēs e nell'evoluzione del latino divenuto canonico.
