LA GUERRA DEL KIPPUR

In this thesis it's described all the historical context and the conditions who brought Israel to fight against the Arab countries for their fourth time, but for the first time israelian people did not attack first. The fourth Arab-israelian conflict is better know as Yom Kippur War. Beyond historical facts and consideration it is described the relation between Arab countries and the two super powers, even during the three conflict but particularly in the Yom Kippur War. Moreover it has been analysed the political strategy of the URSS and USA, keeping an eye on the political diplomacy of the Secretary of the USA Henry Kissinger.

Nella seguente tesi si è voluto ripercorre tutto il percorso storico che ha portato al quarto conflitto arabo-israeliano, meglio conosciuto come la guerra dello Yom Kippur. Inizialmente è stata ripercorsa la storia dello Stato d'Israele a partire dalla fine della seconda guerra mondiale alla guerra del Kippur passando per la crisi di Suez. Oltre a ripercorrere le fasi storiche del conflitto arabo israeliano si è prestata attenzione alle relazioni tra gli Stati mediorientali e le super potenze, sia durante i primi tre conflitti ma in modo particolare allo Yom Kippur. Si è analizzato inoltre le strategie dell'URSS è in particolare modo degli USA nella personalità del suo Segretario Henry Kissinger
