In modern e-commerce activities, the link between logistics and distribution companies and customers is closely related to corporate image, profit and development. With the rapid development of e-commerce in recent years, market competition has become increasingly fierce. At the same time, many companies have turned their attention to seeking cost advantages and value advantages to the logistics field before and after production. There is no doubt that this can not only bring cost advantages to enterprises but also gain competitive advantages. Therefore, logistics management has received more and more attention from enterprises and has been included in the scope of corporate strategic management, and has even become the cornerstone of corporate development strategies. This dissertation takes JD.com as an example, introduces the operation model of its mall, the birth of self-built logistics and the reasons for its birth, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of its two logistics models through the SWOT model; then, by comparing JD Logistics with its most potential rival in China, Cainiao Logistics, we can find out the shortcomings of JD's business model and the difficulties it may encounter in the future. In the subsequent development of JingDong Mall, it also needs to improve its logistics distribution model, especially focusing on improving distribution efficiency, strengthening customer relationship management supervision, improving the comprehensive quality of service personnel, and focusing on strengthening information sharing in the supply chain.
