A study of the terms which the poet uses to describe the suffering of the main characters of the play, and also of the changes that the pain causes in the characters; as they make Iphighenia more mature and aware, they make Agamemnon resigned to the fate given by the gods.

Uno studio dei termini con cui il poeta descrive la sofferenza dei personaggi principali del dramma, e dei mutamenti che il dolore provoca nei caratteri, rendendoli più maturi e consapevoli, come nel caso della stessa protagonista Ifigenia, oppure più rassegnati al destino voluto dagli dei, come per Agamennone.
