What was then known as beautiful Yugoslavia is now known as six independent countries known today as Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. The country came into existence after WW1 on the 1st December 1918 and was later named the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes. It was situated in south-eastern and Central Europe. On the 13. of July 1922 the Kingdom finally gained its official and international recognition at the Conference of Ambassadors in Paris France. In 1929 on the 3rd of October, the official name of the country was changed to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
