"Il Mago di Oz" diretto da Silvio Peroni per il Teatro Stabile di Torino. Dal testo alla messinscena. ​

What's hidden behind a play? What are the steps that make a text become a theatre play? “The Wizard of Oz” goes on stage on the 14 Jenuary 2020 at the Teatro Carignano in Turin, a project directed by Silvio Peroni in collaboration with the Teatro Stabile in Turin. This work retraces the process that allowed Baum's famous book for children to come to life between the walls of the Carignano, going through different phases: an overview of the novel and the previous theatrical versions, pre-production of the play; the writing of the script; the building of the scenic machine composed of costumes, lights, scenography and music; the work with the actors and the theatre direction in a diary kept by the intern while working as co-director; finally getting to the post-production, the advertising of the final product and the actual on-stage representation, stopped too soon by the unpredictable pandemic. The aim is to give a complete overview of the natural path accomplished by a theatrical production thank to many professional figures that give their personal artistic contribution for the realization of the final production. ​

Cosa si nasconde dietro uno spettacolo teatrale? Quali sono le fasi che portano un testo a diventare uno spettacolo? "il Mago di Oz" va in scena il 14 gennaio 2020 al Teatro Carignano di Torino, progetto diretto da Silvio Peroni in collaborazione con il Teatro Stabile di Torino. La tesi ripercorre il processo che ha permesso al famoso testo per bambini di Baum di prendere vita tra le mura del Carignano, passando attraverso le fasi di: panoramica del romanzo e delle precedenti versioni teatrali, preproduzione dello spettacolo; scrittura del copione teatrale; creazione della macchina scenica composta da costumi, luci, scenografia e musica; lavoro con gli attori e la regia teatrale vero e proprio diario di bordo del tirocinante come aiuto regista; fino ad arrivare alla post produzione, la pubblicizzazione del prodotto finale e la messinscena bloccata preventivamente dall'imprevista pandemia. L'obbiettivo è quello di fornire una visione completa del percorso naturale che compie una produzione teatrale grazie a molte figure professionali che danno il loro contributo artistico per la realizzazione della messinscena. ​
