Praxe: concetto e tradizione. L’identità di un fenomeno liminale

The following dissertation aims at illustrating the phenomenon of Praxe, a practice in use among the university students of Coimbra and, more generally, in Portugal. This work will thus be articulated following a scheme that is, at a time historical, philosophical, and anthropological. The purpose is not simply narrating the historical origin, but also conceptualising this tradition, to better analyze it and comprehend it from multiple points of view. Therefore, we will make use of the method of philosophical counseling to assess the Praxe phenomenon as if it was a "human subject". The paper, thus conceived, aims not to present an absolute truth, but rather a possibile interpretation, whose purpose is not to "fix" the concept of Praxe, but to stimulate the readers' curiosity, so that this phenomenon can be source of debate and scientific interest. As a result, the following pages offer themselves as a possible point of view on a certain interpretation, a possible reality of our time.

La seguente tesi si propone di illustrare una possibile concettualizzazione del significato di Praxe, pratica in uso tra gli studenti universitari di Coimbra e più in generale, portoghesi. La tesi si articolerà così seguendo uno schema che è ora storico, ora filosofico, ora antropologico e che vuole dapprima illustrale quale sia di fatto l’origine storica di tale fenomeno ma che non vuole solo limitarsi a narrarlo, ma anzi, desidera sintetizzarlo per poterlo analizzare meglio e comprendere al meglio lo spessore di tale pratica sotto molteplici punti di vista. Proprio per questa motivazione ci si avvarrà del metodo della consulenza filosofica trattando il fenomeno Praxe come fosse un “soggetto umano”. L’elaborato, così concepito, si propone non di presentarsi come verità assoluta, ma bensì come possibilità, cui fine non è quello di “fissare” il concetto di Praxe, ma anzi, suscitare l’interesse necessario nei lettori affinché questo fenomeno possa essere fonte di curiosità e interesse scientifico. Le seguenti pagine si offrono così come un possibile punto di vista di una determinata prospettiva, una possibile realtà del nostro tempo.
