Sepolture e rituali funerari dell'età del Bronzo in Piemonte. Rassegna ed analisi delle evidenze.

This thesis aims to summarize the Bronze Age burials in Piedmont, starting from the Early Bronze Age, where there are still inhumation burials, passing through the Middle Bronze Age, where the first rituals including cremation begin to be attested, arriving at the Recent Bronze Age where the presence of the necropolis of Valdieri is very important and concluding with the Late Bronze Age and the necropolis of Morano sul Po. The work continues with the creation of some records referable to various funeral sites in Piedmont. These records provide important information on the location of the site, the culture they belong to and also a brief description of the types of burials and the grave goods. Finally, there is an analysis of the various mortuary rituals, which explains the differences depending on the period and the facies they belong to, but also the meeting points and provides some comparisons between different cultures and their areas of influence.

Questa tesi vuole sintetizzare le sepolture dell'età del Bronzo in Piemonte, partendo dal Bronzo Antico, dove sono presenti ancora sepolture ad inumazione, passando per il Bronzo Medio, dove iniziano ad essere attestati i primi rituali comprendenti la cremazione, arrivando al Bronzo Recente dove è significativa la presenza della necropoli di Valdieri e concludendo con il Bronzo Finale e la necropoli protogolasecchiana di Morano sul Po. L'elaborato prosegue con la creazione di alcune schedature riferibili a diversi siti funerari presenti in Piemonte. Queste schede forniscono dati importanti sull'ubicazione del sito, la cultura di appartenenza e anche una breve descrizione sulle tipologie delle sepolture e i corredi. Infine, è presente un'analisi dei vari rituali funerari, che ne spiega le differenze a seconda del periodo e delle facies di appartenenza ma anche i punti di incontro e fornisce anche alcuni confronti tra le differenti culture e le loro aree di influenza.
