Il corpo che cambia. L' infermiere e l'assistenza infermieristica al corpo della persona assistita in un contesto di crescita e sviluppo moderno.

Introduction : The experiences of nurses serve to highlight the importance of the care of the body of the patient, value that perhaps is losing importance in the new company. The body is home to countless modifications and the nurse practitioner must be able to approach this using the best techniques and thus promoting a good nursing care. Material and Methods: It was adopted a qualitative study design with the use of focus groups as a detection technique for research. Through this instrument we have been involved 10 nurses of Unit Medicine 1 and 2 Medicine Hospital of Saluzzo. The discussion that has taken shape from focus groups was recorded, analyzed and codified through a computer support. For data analysis it used the method of Giorgi. Results: The analysis of the experiences and statements made by nurses led to the identification of three main themes. Nurses recognize that their emotions and feelings, training, organization and internal variables affect the quality of the body of the patient. It notes that the body has a fundamental importance in the assistance and that not taking care of this, or neglect this constraint becomes the subject of care and limit of acting professionally and daily nurse. Discussion and Conclusions: The survey was a significant moment of personal reflection and for the group of nurses who participated in the research. As regards the possible effects, this study can be adopted as the basis for a search at the organizational level of U.O. taken over time to investigate the quality of care provided, the work is also a starting point for research in the experiences of people assisted a reference on the quality of the person's body.

Introduzione: Le esperienze degli infermieri servono a valorizzare l'importanza della cura del corpo della persona assistita, valore che forse sta perdendo rilevanza nella nuova società. Il corpo è sede di innumerevoli modificazioni e l'infermiere professionista deve sapersi approcciare a questo utilizzando le migliori tecniche e favorendo così una buona assistenza infermieristica. Materiale e Metodi: è stato adottato un disegno di studio qualitativo con l'utilizzo del Focus Group come tecnica di rilevazione per la ricerca. Attraverso questo strumento sono stati coinvolti 10 infermieri delle U.O. di Medicina 1 e Medicina 2 dell'Ospedale Civile di Saluzzo. La discussione che ha preso forma dal Focus group è stata registrata, analizzata e codificata attraverso un supporto informatico. Per l'analisi dei dati è stato utilizzato il Metodo di Giorgi. Risultati: L'analisi delle esperienze e delle affermazioni fatte dagli infermieri ha condotto all'individuazione di tre temi principali. Gli infermieri riconoscono che le proprie emozioni e sentimenti, la formazione, e variabili interne all'organizzazione influiscono sulla qualità dell'assistenza al corpo della persona assistita. Si rileva che il corpo ha un importanza fondamentale nell'assistenza e che la non presa in carico di questo, o il trascurare questo oggetto di cure diviene vincolo e limite dell'agire professionale e quotidiano dell'infermiere. Discussioni e conclusioni: L'indagine ha rappresentato un significativo momento di riflessione personale e per il gruppo degli infermieri che ha partecipato alla ricerca. Per quanto riguarda le possibili ricadute, questo studio può essere adottato come base per una ricerca a livello organizzativo delle U.O. prese in carico volta a indagare la qualità dell'assistenza fornita, inoltre il lavoro rappresenta uno spunto per ricercare nelle esperienze delle persone assistite un riferimento sulla qualità dell'assistenza al corpo della persona.
