Abstract
The problem of psychosis is focused from the multidisciplinary view-points of psychobiology. Philosophy, anthropology and sociology are involved with interpretations of this utmost human-specific disease; physio-pathogenic processes and mechanisms of antipsychotic drugs in central nervous system are pointed-out from neuroscience's state of the art; etiology and conjectures of paradoxical hereditary transmission are discussed, inter-comparing some genetic-biology models; advancements in the psychodynamic perspective are also considered, after Lacan's admittance of psychosis ¿ originally discouraged by Freud ¿ to the psychoanalysis-oriented talking cure. As to negative symptoms, the underlying pathology state (sometimes called ¿oligo-symptomatic¿ or ¿ to distinguish it from extraordinary, catastrophic ones ¿ ¿ordinary¿ psychosis) is a current challenge to clinic psychology, due to peculiar difficulties in differential diagnosis and consequent treatment. A research result is that psychobiological multidisciplinary may foster the fine-tuning of a comprehensive and effective approach to such oligo-symptomatic or ordinary psychoses.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
