The research aims at the development of a reasoning concerning the application of the CISG (Convention for international sale of goods) of 1980 to international electronic contracts, considering the role played by the internet as the platform for communicating and contracting, and all the difficulties encountered by the law in the regulation of the same internet as human phenomenon. The dissertation will try to show the answers given to these issues in international trade law.
