As we know , China becomes the most powerful country in the global manufacturing industry and influences of original-of-country on clothes consumption. Now China is not only the biggest producer and exporter of textiles and clothing, accounting for 50% of world ' s total fiber production and 58% of world textiles and clothing trade in 2010, but also a potential buyer and importer, backed by a fast-growing market. Survey on Chinese clothing industry and companies - The first one is the analysis on the Chinese clothing industry: I describe the structure and characteristics of Chinese clothing industry. It will provide an analysis of the consumer preferences and behavior, an overview of the distribution channels, the major brands and the procurement practices including the use of e-commerce and ICT procurement; And the second one is the analysis on one clothing company :Bosideng International Holdings Limited. I take this company as my case study and I research on it from different perspectives, such as history, strategic planning, financial statement. In the end I highlight the conclusions. The aim of my research is to find out solutions how the Chinese clothing companies will do in future. In this paper, firstly I write about the background of the economy and garment industry of China from 2010-2014. With the development of Chinese economy, the garment industry develops very fast and many clothes are exported to EU, USA and other countries in the world. And we mainly focus on researching and analyzing the development and export of one private-owned garment factory: Bosideng International Holdings Limited . And we will also analyze the difference between Europe and China , and find the problems on brands and technique .At last we find some problems of Chinese garment industry and we have some suggestions from the service innovation aspect for Chinese private-owned factories to develop in future.
