Does the conception of international sports law really exist? Is the phenomena of global sports law yet to be achieved? Does the highest authority in the game, Court of Arbitration for Sport, fulfill the requirements of the sport world as a dispute resolution center? How legitimate it is for sporting federations to self-regulate and bypass national laws? Is Lex Sportiva really present among the jurisprudence of the sporting authorities or is it simply an imaginary concept and nothing more than the international principles applied into sports related matters? This thesis will aim to answer the above-mentioned questions, by delving into the evolving international framework of sports, examining its jurisdictional challenges, cross-border enforcement, regulations of different sporting federations and the concept of Lex Sportiva. By exploring notable case studies, the role of major governing bodies, and the conflicts between national and international authorities, this research sheds light on the complexities of regulating a globalized sports industry. The study further argues for legal harmonization to safeguard standards between different bodies while balancing the authority of sports federations, offering insights for both practitioners and scholars in the field.

Abstract
The study further argues for legal harmonization to safeguard standards between different bodies while balancing the authority of sports federations, offering insights for both practitioners and scholars in the field.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
