Proposta di traduzione e commento di una selezione di articoli di Leila Guerriero

This work focuses on the translation of eight articles written by Leila Guerriero and published in El País, exploring the complex linguistic and cultural aspects encountered during the translation process. The introductory chapters provide an overview of journalism, delineating the principal characteristics of this genre and the contextual framework within which the author operates. Subsequently, it was examinate the subjects addressed in the selected articles is presented. The concluding section of the thesis is dedicated to the translation proposal and the translation commentary, wherein the linguistic and cultural challenges identified are analyzed.

La presente tesi magistrale si concentra sulla traduzione di otto articoli scritti da Leila Guerriero e pubblicati su El País, esplorando i complessi aspetti linguistici e culturali affrontati durante il processo di traduzione. Nei capitoli iniziali viene fornita un’introduzione al giornalismo, delineando le caratteristiche principali di questo genere e il contesto in cui opera l’autrice. Successivamente, viene presentata una panoramica dei temi trattati negli articoli selezionati. La parte finale della tesi è dedicata alla proposta di traduzione e al commento della traduzione, dove si esaminano le sfide linguistiche e culturali incontrate.
