This bachelor thesis aims to explore the intricate dynamics of organizational change within a business organization, specifically focusing on targets of change, forces and resistance, business process reengineering, change management strategies, and innovation. The paper explores organizational change’s reasons, challenges, and methodologies in a contemporary business environment. The empirical material of the thesis investigates a real-world example by analyzing a case study of Randstad Services, the outsourcing company within the Randstad Group. Specifically, the thesis explains the recent expansion of the company into sport and events management, a strategic business initiative for diversifying the service portfolio and attracting new customers, All the different aspects involved in organizational transformation will be assessed and examined, including what is and how it should be applied, the implementation of evolutionary and revolutionary change, and strategies for organizational development. The final part of the study will be dedicated to a comprehensive examination of the Sport & Events business line launched by Randstad Services, through an analysis of the strategic rationale behind this venture, the challenges faced during the implementation, and the outcome of this revolutionary change. This section will be eventually enriched by a direct interview with the Operation Coordinator of the unit, who is responsible for overseeing all the activities and managing every aspect of the division. .
