L'intelligenza artificiale nella finanza e nella contabilità

Artificial intelligence algorithms have achieved a remarkable notoriety during the last months; for sure, especially thanks to the introduction of ChatGPT, a chatbot based on AI, in November 2022. After its announcement, in fact, a lot of people all around the world started to explore its capabilities and to be aware of the level of development of these kinds of technologies. Newspaper articles, journalists, big companies, important entrepreneurs, etc., eventually, contributed to enlarge the phenomenon. A phenomenon that can redefine our traditional concept of the world and of the reality. The objective of this work is to analyze and to explore the main characteristics of artificial intelligence and its implementation in sector such as finance and accounting. We will analyze some game-changer features and we will discover the reason why many companies are investing huge capitals for researching and developing more and more sophisticated AI algorithms. It will be discussed, moreover, some risks that if would not be properly mitigated, could represent a serious threat for our economies and democracies.
