L'approccio educativo montessoriano nelle Case dei bambini

The aim of this theoretical paper is to trace and describe the distinctive features of the places of practical reference of the Montessori method or Children's Houses; the report focuses on and analyzes the birth of the Children's Houses, the method used and the theory of learning devised by Maria Montessori closely linked to the surrounding environment and the development materials used. The aim of the paper is to understand the main characterizations and motivations that make the Houses of the Children: an educational choice that is still relevant and widespread among families and teachers around the world. The thesis adopts a theoretical and narrative case study approach, analysing the scientific literature on the subject from a longitudinal perspective and the Secondary sources of reference for precise descriptions of the method Montessori and its applications in the context of Children's Homes.

Il presente elaborato teorico ha lo scopo di tracciare e descrivere i tratti distintivi dei luoghi di riferimento pratico del metodo montessoriano ovvero le Case dei bambini; la relazione si sofferma e analizza la nascita delle Case dei bambini, il metodo utilizzato e la teoria dell'apprendimento ideata da Maria Montessori strettamente legata all'ambiente circostante e ai materiali di sviluppo utilizzati. L'elaborato si prefigge lo scopo di andare a comprendere le principali caratterizzazioni e le motivazioni che rendono le Case dei bambini una scelta educativa ancora attuale e diffusa tra le famiglie e gli insegnanti nel mondo. La tesi adotta un approccio teorico e di caso di studio narrativo, analizzando la letteratura scientifica sul tema in ottica longitudinale e le fonti secondarie di riferimento per le descrizioni puntuali del metodo montessoriano e delle sue applicazioni nell’ambito delle Case dei bambini.
