Dalla coercizione al disfacimento morale: l’evoluzione della sessualità attraverso le trasformazioni sociali degli ultimi sessant’anni

The following work is a multidisciplinary study on the evolution of sexuality over the past sixty years. Beginning with biology and philosophy, it zooms in on the non-existence of sexual intercourse in the Lacanian thesis. It then proceeds to analyze the work of psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich, who, in the 1920s and 1930s, attributed the increasingly prevalent mental disorders to sexual repression, the cornerstone of Freudian theory. The study then investigates the presence of the coercive morality throughout Italy in the 1960s through Pier Paolo Pasolini's documentary 'Comizi d'amore', a work that predates the most iconic events of the 1968 protests. The study concludes with an analysis of the social change brought about by the advent of technology. Drawing on the theories of sociologist Zygmunt Bauman and psychoanalyst Umberto Galimberti, it outlines the portrait of the modern man: faded and fragile within the fluidity that contains him.

Il seguente lavoro è uno studio multidisciplinare sull’evoluzione della sessualità negli ultimi sessant’anni: partendo dalla biologia e dalla filosofia, si apre la lente di ingrandimento sull’inesistenza del rapporto sessuale nella tesi lacaniana, si passa poi ad analizzare il lavoro dello psichiatra e psicoanalista Wilhelm Reich che, negli anni Venti e Trenta, attribuisce alla repressione sessuale, fondamento della civiltà nella teoria freudiana, la colpa dei sempre più insorgenti disturbi mentali. Si riparte poi indagando la moralità coercitiva presente in tutta Italia negli anni Sessanta, attraverso il documentario Comizi d’amore di Pier Paolo Pasolini; lavoro che precede le più iconiche rivolte del Sessantotto. Il lavoro si conclude con l’analisi del cambiamento sociale attuato dall’avvento della tecnologia, attraverso le teorie del sociologo Zygmunt Bauman e dello psicoanalista Umberto Galimberti si delinea il ritratto dell’uomo moderno: sbiadito e frangibile nella liquidità che lo contiene.
