Da i Brüzá al Mainì la toponimia di tradizione orale di Morialdo (AT).

This dissertation consists of a toponymic investigation carried out in one of the hamlets of the municipality of Castelnuovo Don Bosco: Morialdo. The work takes shape in V chapters: in chapter I it is proposed to frame the territory from a geographical point of view, and then move on to a hint of local history, the economic aspects and the strong religious component present in the whole area. In chapter II it will be possible to observe some linguistic features of the Piedmontese spoken in the investigated area. Chapter III continues with a presentation of the methodology used during the field investigations, with a list of the papers that were submitted to the informants, a list of the interviewees and, finally, with the transcription rules and warnings for reading toponyms . Chapter IV represents the most important part of the work as it collects the entire toponymic corpus which will then be analyzed in the final chapter, illustrating the various categories to which the toponyms belong and analyzing the perception that the inhabitants have of the boundaries of the hamlet; everything will end with a photo gallery of the most evocative places in Morialdo.​

La presente dissertazione consiste in un’inchiesta toponimica svolta in una delle frazioni del comune di Castelnuovo Don Bosco: Morialdo. Il lavoro prende forma in V capitoli: nel capitolo I si propone di inquadrare il territorio dal punto di vista geografico, per poi passare ad un accenno di storia locale, agli aspetti economici e alla forte componente religiosa presente in tutta l’area. Nel capitolo II si potranno osservare alcuni tratti linguistici del piemontese parlato nell’area indagata. Nel capitolo III si prosegue con una presentazione della metodologia utilizzata durante le inchieste sul campo, con un elenco delle carte che sono state sottoposte agli informatori, una lista degli intervistati e, infine, con le norme di trascrizione e le avvertenze per la lettura dei toponimi. Il capitolo IV rappresenta la parte più importante del lavoro poiché raccoglie tutto il corpus toponimico che verrà poi analizzato nel capitolo conclusivo, illustrando le varie categorie a cui i toponimi appartengono e analizzando la percezione che gli abitanti hanno dei confini della frazione; il tutto si concluderà con una galleria fotografia dei luoghi più suggestivi di Morialdo. ​
