Mondi operai e rappresentazioni teatrali nell'Italia contemporanea

This study analyses theatrical performances of interest for the study of the world of work and in particular that of the workers. The first chapter presents the origins of proletarian theatre in France, Germany, Russia and Italy; the second focuses on the study of the Italian alternative scene from the Fifties to the Eighties with insights on the theatre of Dario Fo and Franca Rame, the GruTeaTer and the Collective of Parma; the third chapter is a collection of contemporary shows with reflections on the world of today’s work or historical facts related to the history of work. The analysis of the shows is not qualitative, but highlights how the theme of work and workers has been addressed in the Italian theater scene, making the theater an instrument of communication and reflection that still shows a renewed interest in the themes of work.

Il presente studio analizza spettacoli teatrali di interesse per lo studio del mondo del lavoro e in particolare quello operaio. Nel primo capitolo si presentano le origini del teatro proletario in Francia, Germania, Russia e Italia; nel secondo l’attenzione è rivolta allo studio della scena alternativa italiana dagli anni Cinquanta agli anni Ottanta con approfondimenti sul teatro di Dario Fo e Franca Rame, il GruTeaTer e il Collettivo di Parma; nel terzo capitolo è raccolta una rassegna di spettacoli contemporanei aventi come tema riflessioni sul mondo del lavoro odierno o fatti storici legati alla storia del lavoro. L'analisi degli spettacoli non è di tipo qualitativo, ma mette in luce come il tema del lavoro e dei lavoratori sia stato affrontato nella scena teatrale italiana, rendendo il teatro uno strumento di comunicazione e di riflessione che mostra ancora oggi un rinnovato interesse per le tematiche del lavoro.
