Femminismo islamico: uno sguardo antropologico

I analyze the phenomenon of Islamic feminism, asking whether Islam can be a feminist religion, examining the interpretations given of the Qur'an, the various currents of thought within the movement and their differences. I've also placed a special interest in the use of the veil and how it changes over time. Studying in particular feminist struggles within the Islamic world in the twentieth century and how interest in women's rights has changed.

Analizzo il fenomeno del femminismo islamico, chiedondomi se l'Islam possa essere una religione femminista, esaminando le interpretazioni date del Corano, le varie correnti di pensiero all'interno del movimento e le loro differenze. Ho posto inoltre, particolare interesse all'utilizzo del velo e a come cambi nel tempo. Studiando in particolare le lotte femministe all'interno del mondo islamico nel Novecento e come l'interesse per i diritti della donna sia cambiato.
