Apprendere il golf: il rapporto tra maestro e allievo

The purpose of this thesis, after describing the world of golf broadly, is to illustrate its teaching method, exposing the technical methodology, and analyzing the relationship between teacher and student, evaluating psychological, motivational and communicative aspects. This relationship is one of the cardinal points of sport, physical activity and recreational sports. The role of the master will therefore be fundamental in the practice of this complex sport, since without his help, both the technique and the behavior on a playing field will be practically impossible to learn. Some special situations characteristic of golf were also mentioned, such as the role of the caddy and its relationship with the player, and special teaching strategies for the elderly and children were also considered. The various studies that have been analyzed in this bibliographic research, conducted by professionals in the sports sector, in particular golf, and the psychological sector, have been very useful for understanding in a precise and detailed way what is the best teaching method for a teacher of golf and above all what is the communicative and motivational method recommended for good teaching.

Lo scopo di questa tesi, dopo aver descritto a grandi linee il mondo del golf, è illustrare il suo metodo di insegnamento, esponendo la metodologia tecnica, e analizzare il rapporto tra maestro e allievo, valutando aspetti psicologici, motivazionali e comunicativi. Questo rapporto è uno dei punti cardine dello sport, dell'attività motoria e dell'attività ludico-sportiva. Il ruolo del maestro risulterà quindi fondamentale nella pratica di questo complesso sport, poiché senza il suo ausilio, sia la tecnica che il comportamento su un campo da gioco, risulteranno praticamente impossibili da apprendere. Si è anche fatto accenno ad alcune situazioni particolari caratteristiche del golf come il ruolo del caddie e il suo rapporto con il giocatore, e sono state anche considerate particolari strategie di insegnamento verso anziani e bambini. I vari studi che sono stati analizzati in questa ricerca bibliografica, condotti da professionisti del settore sportivo, in particolare del golf, e del settore psicologico, sono risultati molto utili per comprendere in maniera precisa e dettagliata quale sia il metodo di insegnamento migliore per un maestro di golf e soprattutto quale sia il metodo comunicativo e motivazionale consigliato per un buon insegnamento.
