AFFIDO E ADOZIONE: IL DIRITTO DEI SOGGETTI CON DISABILTA’ DI ESSERE ACCOLTI E DI VIVERE IN UNA FAMIGLIA DIVERSA DA QUELLA BIOLOGICA

The paper entitled FOSTER CARE AND ADOPTION: THE RIGHT OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO BE WELCOME AND TO LIVE IN A FAMILY OTHER THAN THE BIOLOGICAL ONE is the result of the study and examination of articles and reports of associations, documentaries, books and institutions for minor rights. In this paper, after having defined the two legal provisions foster care and adoption, the road was retraced to arrive at and then analyze the current law 184/83 for the protection of adoption and foster care. The two measures were then described, deepening their different forms and the various related professionals. Subsequently we entered into the specifics of disability by determining who is a person with disability; how the rights for those in this condition have changed over the years and how disability and abandonment are experienced in foreign and/or extremely poor countries. Finally, the study wanted to focus on concrete experiences of fostering and adopting people with disabilities.

L’elaborato dal titolo AFFIDO E ADOZIONE: IL DIRITTO DEI SOGGETTI CON DISABILTA’ DI ESSERE ACCOLTI E DI VIVERE IN UNA FAMIGLIA DIVERSA DA QUELLA BIOLOGICA è il risultato dello studio e dell’esaminazione di articoli e relazioni di associazioni, documentari, libri ed enti per i diritti minorili. In tale elaborato, dopo aver definito i due provvedimenti giuridici affido e adozione, è stata ripercorsa la strada per arrivare e per poi analizzare l’attuale legge 184/83 di tutela dell’adozione e dell’affido. Sono stati poi descritti i due provvedimenti approfondendone le diverse forme e i vari professionisti annessi. Successivamente si è entrati nello specifico della disabilità determinando chi è una persona con disabilità; come sono cambiati negli anni i diritti per chi è in tale condizione e come si vive la disabilità e l’abbandono in paesi stranieri e/o di estrema povertà. Infine lo studio ha voluto vertere su esperienze concrete di affido e adozione di soggetti con disabilità.
