Le esportazioni delle imprese italiane e le implicazioni della Brexit: un'analisi dei settori automotive e food & beverage

This thesis is aimed at studying the export processes of Italian companies and the performances that follow, first from a theoretical point of view and then with the analysis of two cases: the automotive sector and the food & beverage sector. Moreover, given the actuality of the topic, we have tried to investigate the main implications of Brexit on Italian companies and in some industrial sectors. The first part gathers the existing literature and studies exports and the globalization process from different points of view, such as the costs of supporting this process, capital raising, internationalization methods, geographical location and many others. Following this first theoretical part, the second part focuses more on two practical cases in Italy: the automotive sector and the implications of Brexit on the food & beverage sector. In relation to the latter, an analysis of AIDA and ISTAT Coeweb data was carried out to study the possible effects that Brexit would have on the main companies in the sector exporting to the UK.

Questa tesi di laurea è finalizzata allo studio dei processi di esportazione delle imprese italiane e alle prestazioni che ne conseguono, prima da un punto di vista teorico e in seguito con l'analisi di due casi: il settore automotive e il settore food & beverage. Inoltre, vista l'attualità del tema, si è cercato di investigare le principali implicazioni della Brexit sulle imprese e in alcuni settori industriali italiani. La prima parte raccoglie la letteratura esistente e studia le esportazioni e il processo di globalizzazione sotto diversi punti di vista, quali ad esempio i costi nel sostenere questo processo, il reperimento di capitale, le modalità di internazionalizzazione, l'ubicazione geografica e molti altri. In seguito a questa prima parte teorica, la seconda parte si concentra maggiormente su due casi pratici in Italia: il settore automotive e le implicazioni della Brexit sul settore food & beverage. Relativo a quest'ultimo, si è effettuata un'analisi dei dati AIDA e ISTAT Coeweb per studiare i possibili effetti che la Brexit avrebbe sulle principali imprese del settore che esportano nel Regno Unito.
