The purpose of this dissertation is to analyse the role of children in the tourism industry and to present the tourism materials devoted to kids. In particular, the research introduces a project, “Piccole guide per grandi scoperte”, developed in the autonomous kindergartens in the province of Trento (Trentino) which aims at creating small tourism of proximity guidebooks for children elaborated by pupils aged three to six years old in collaboration with teachers and local authorities. Moreover, this thesis takes into analysis two works created within the mentioned project, examining them from a linguistic point of view and identifying popularization and accessibility strategies.

Abstract
