This thesis aims to analyze the effects of Trump legislation on individuals and companies' beliefs and sentiments. Climate change is a very debated topic nowadays. Many people are starting to worry about the effect that pollution has on the planet, at the same time companies are trying to be more and more sustainable. This situation goes totally in contrast with Trump legislation, begun in November 2016, that seems to ignore the common opinion of the scientific community, as well as the majority of American citizen and enterprises. As a matter of fact, since he became President, Mr. Trump took a series of questionable actions: he decided to pull out of Paris agreement by posting a tweet on June 2017. Moreover, he attempts to cut environmental funds as proposed in its 2020 budget called Budget for a Better America. Methodology used aims to collect as many depositions as possible in order to give a holistic point of view of all actors involved. In fact, several comments each year are sent to the SEC (Security Exchange Commission) in response to different regulations, asking for more disclosure by companies in their financial statement about environmental issues. Different observations are collected and classified depending on whether they are in favor or against climate change, and whether they are coming from individuals or organizations. The most relevant ones are reported and analyzed to show how the community opinion is divergent to the one of the actual legislature.

Abstract
The most relevant ones are reported and analyzed to show how the community opinion is divergent to the one of the actual legislature.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
