Gestione della catena logistica; nel caso Smak av Italia AS

This thesis is based on theory of logistics and supply chain management to explain the logistical and supply chain processes of Smak av Italia AS. The research question I have based my work on is: ¿How can supply chain decision phases and logistical process can be expressed at Smak av Italia AS?¿ I will soon explain supply chain management processes followed by logistics. I am utilizing some of the theoretical terms to answer the research question. The context for my study was how a small business in the distributor and retail industry has organized its supply chain and logistics. I conducted my study through interviews with the management of Smak av Italia AS and I was also granted access to company files and financial statements. The results show that Smak av Italia has used logistics and supply chain management to defecate itself from its competitors and gained an advantage in the field. But the results also show that Smak av Italia AS has not used an academic approach to its logistics and supply chain management as the company is small and has limited resources.
