FINANZA SOSTENIBILE: IL CAMMINO PER NUOVI ORIZZONTI DI INVESTIMENTO

In this work we face the relatively recent phenomenon of sustainable and responsible investment (SRI): it has changed from a niche event to a way of doing finance that has become absolutely mainstream. Climate change, demographic changes and the technological revolution are redesigning our planet, our values and the way we invest. In this context, the financial system is called to play a leading role towards a more sustainable economy from an environmental, social and governance point of view. That is why at the end of 2015 in Paris the delegates of 195 countries took part in the COP21, signing an agreement on the climate in which they committed themselves to an economy and a more sustainable society. However, the current levels of investment are not sufficient for the achievement by 2030 of the objectives established by the Paris Agreement. To bridge this gap it is essential to mobilize the savings of private investors towards sustainable investments.
