La tesi verte sulla privacy e il nuovo Regolamento europeo 679/2016. Si analizza l'evoluzione concettuale della privacy volgendo un occhio ai primi cenni storici giuridici sino all'europeizzazione della materia. Mettendo a confronto la prima Direttiva in tema con il nuovo Regolamento Europeo, si analizzano e si criticano i nuovi istituti e temi come il diritto all'oblio, a nuove regole di sicurezza del trattamento dei dati, sino all'introduzione di nuovi soggetti all'interno del panorama della protezione dati come il "Data Protection Officer" senza mai dimenticare l'importanza e il privilegio dei diritti fondamentali della persona protagonista del nuovo Regolamento Europeo.
The thesis focuses on privacy and the new European Regulation 679/2016. The conceptual evolution of privacy is analyzed, with an eye to the first historical juridical points up to the Europeanization of the subject. Comparing the first directive on the subject with the new European Regulations, analyzing and criticizing the new institutes and topics are the right to be forgotten, a new rules of security of treatment, until the introduction of new subjects within the data protection landscape as the "Data Protection Manager" without ever forgetting the importance and privilege of the fundamental human rights of the new European Regulation.
