L'obiettivo del mio lavoro è fornire un commento linguistico e letterario all'epistola IV delle Heroides di Ovidio, priva di studi e approfondimenti recenti. L'analisi si concentra su alcune sezioni della lettera giudicate importanti per i temi affrontati e per i confronti istituibili con altri testi. Il desiderio è che l'elaborato possa diventare un punto di partenza nella costituzione di un commento puntuale e completo dell'epistola. ​
The purpose of my work is to provide a linguistic and literary commentary on Ovid's epistle IV of Heroides, that is bare of recent studies and insights. The analysis focuses on some sections of the letter that are considered important for the issues addressed and for the possible comparisons with other works. The wish is that the paper can become a starting point in the building of an accurate and complete commentary of the epistle.​
