Il progetto della tesi è stato elaborato per indagare un tema che ha radici nel passato ma che si sta sviluppando, comprendendone l’importanza sotto diversi punti di vista, ovvero l’outdoor education, l’educazione all’aperto, in italiano. Si tratta di un progetto di tipo pedagogico, indirizzato particolarmente per l’educazione nella fase evolutiva, l’infanzia soprattutto, ma che si rivela molto utile in tutte le fasce d’età. L’elaborato sarà formato da quattro capitoli così suddivisi: 1: nel primo capitolo si affronterà il tema dei diritti dei minori nell’ambiente, soffermandosi sulla costituzione internazionale dei diritti dell’infanzia, elaborata dall’ONU e approvata nell’89, che decreta gli obblighi che hanno tutti gli stati verso l’infanzia, inoltre verranno affrontati gli obiettivi da raggiungere con l'agenda 2030 per tutelare l’ambiente e la salute; 2: nel secondo capitolo si inizierà a definire cos’è l’outdoor education, come è nata e i principi su cui si basa, si andranno ad analizzare benefici e vantaggi che si possono ricavare dallo svolgere attività educative all’aria aperta, soffermandosi sul benessere che le attività motorie possono produrre sul corpo e sulla mente, infine verrà delineato il ruolo dell’educatore nello svolgere queste attività con i bambini, sia di controllo ma anche di favorire l’apprendimento e consentire lo sviluppo di una serie di valori. 3: nel terzo capitolo verranno mostrati dei progetti che sono stati svolti nelle scuole per poter promuovere le attività educative all’aperto, come vengono gestite, le finalità raggiungibili e le attività che possono essere svolte, inoltre sarà analizzata la normativa adatta per poter svolgere tali attività; 4: nel quarto ed ultimo capitolo saranno inserite e analizzate delle interviste sottoposte ad educatori e insegnanti relative al tema dell’educazione all’aperto, per rilevare il loro pensiero, comprendere se essi credono che sia un tipo di attività utile ai fini educativi, se la praticano nelle loro classi, quali sono le attività che ritengono utili e come le mettono in atto. Lo scopo delle interviste sarà quello di confrontare il parere dei diversi insegnanti e capirne l’importanza, obiettivo fondamentale dell’elaborato.
The project of the thesis was developed to investigate a topic that has roots in the past but is developing, understanding its importance from different points of view, namely the outdoor education. This is a project of a pedagogical nature, particularly aimed at education in the developmental stage, especially childhood, but which is very useful in all age groups. The paper will consist of four chapters divided as follows: 1: the first chapter will deal with the theme of children's rights in the environment, focusing on the International Constitution of the Rights of the Child, drafted by the UN and approved in 1989, which establishes the obligations that all states have towards children, and will also address the goals to be achieved with the 2030 Agenda to protect the environment and health; 2: in the second chapter we will begin to define what outdoor education is, how it was born and the principles on which it is based, we will analyze the benefits and advantages that can be derived from carrying out educational activities in the open air, focusing on the well-being that motor activities can produce on the body and mind, and finally we will outline the role of the educator in carrying out these activities with children, both to control but also to encourage learning and allow the development of a set of values. 3: in the third chapter will be shown projects that have been carried out in schools in order to promote outdoor educational activities, how they are managed, the goals that can be achieved and the activities that can be carried out, also will be analyzed the appropriate legislation to be able to carry out these activities; 4: in the fourth and final chapter will be included and analyzed interviews submitted to educators and teachers on the topic of outdoor education, to detect their thinking, understand if they believe that it is a useful type of activity for educational purposes, whether they practice it in their classrooms, what activities they believe are useful, and how they implement them. The purpose of the interviews will be to compare the opinions of the different teachers and understand their importance, which is the fundamental objective of the paper.
